You're running wayyyy to much boost, you should get a bigger pulley so you can get down to 7-8lbs of boost ASAP or your 5-8* of kr WILL blow that engine up! I'm surprised that you haven't thrown 3 pistons straight out of the hood man. Also something to consider, you could go get it tuned by zzperformance.com, they are the best tuners out there. Or you can go to INTENSE-RACING.COM They are the leaders in 3800 specialties, they should be able to take care of you!

ive got 2 good knock sensors ill sell if you want to try them.

Let me go back to pre-school where i was taught to read, and go over what i said. I believe it was a BIGGER pulley, not a smaller one. I'm suggesting the leaders in 3800 performance, these guys know what they're talking about. They are the best of the best, this is where HORSE POWER is made. You want a kr free tune you need to see the masters! This forum will agree, intense or zzp, are the best that will ever be! Get a tune man! 3.4 pulley will make make hp/tq with the best tune ever!

i'm trying to help my fellow 3800 friends tackle their problems. 9.11lbs of boost is just wayyyyy to much, i couldn't sleep at night knowing this car is making that kind of boost. His bottom half of his motor is probably on it's last leg holding power like that, it's just not safe. If he wants to be safe he needs to go our leaders in 3800 technology, he needs the best, he needs zzp/intense-racing. That's where winners get their trophy's, that's where losers are turned into winners! Lets win, lets get a race tune! 3.8 pulleys are for slow 3.8 cars!!!!!

You must have a professional tune on that sucker, cause if any other 3800 saw boost like that it would be in the ruins!!! I would see that bad boy in the junk yard, still smoking after it's chipped pistons and spun bearings! Wowowowow!!! 15lbs!!! man! that's just smokin' fast!

Wow STOCK??! Man, if i was running 15psi that would be a ticking time bomb for my car, i'm running a stock bottom end. It's just not meant for power like urs, it's meant for my car which is only on 4psi, it's safe there. I make almost 220whp with a 50shot of NITROUS!! I hope my trans holds my power, which for the op is questionable. Talk to our leaders in transmissions, he'll get you a trans that will hold 9.11psi!!!

wow, i just have a stock bottom end from some buick car, running a 2.8 pulley on a gen v, I can't touch boost like that. The last scan i looked at from my car was 200kpa at 4k, i think that's like 4psi, maybe 5? I'm not good at converting!
