For the record I was running 14 to 14.5 #'s of boost before my header install this weekend with 0* of KR on a 3.4 pulley.

Now that the headers are on I am running 11#'s of boost with a 3.25 and 1* of KR that will be tuned out in the near future.

you guys have no idea what 9.11lbs of boost does to an l67 (aka the low compression 3800) it's just not good. The potential for this motor is only unlocked with forged internals, to be running boost over stock is just amazing!! This gives me hope! I have a stock bottom end from a buick, i think i might be able to make 9lbs of boost someday, well, with some c16 race gas of course!!

i'm actually considering running a 3.7 pulley, it's a long shot but with this higher octane gas called E85 i might be able to get away with it! I'll let everyone know when it happens!! I can't wait!!!

Ok this is pathetic, consider this thread LOCKED!

I warned you Mike, but yet you continue with your rantings. You have NO SHRED of PHYSICAL proof about what you are saying. Knock sensors are put on a car for a reason. Also your bull about the pulley/boost thing is outrageous. IF our cars were NOT meant to handle the boost below a 3.8 pulley, then why are our cars still running when people run 2.8, 3.0, 3.4, 3.5 pulleys below stock? OMG OH NOZZZZZZ Increased Boost! She's gonna blow!

If people/companies like ZZP, W Body, and Intense, THOUGHT that to much boost would ruin our cars, why do they sell the pulleys below 3.8?

But all this is retorical answers now, because you cant post your rantings in this thread any longer!

Sorry to the OP that his thread had to be derailed like this cause of people like Mike, but it has gone on long enough. My apologies to you!
