I run a 2.8 daily on a non i/c'd 9.8:1 compression motor, yep i have no idea what i'm saying. Keep running useless cams and amsoil, sounds like a great combo!

Ok run your 2.99 a qt oil for 409,000 miles in a diesel with out an oil change and see how it holds up. Amsoil did it, so I guess your oil could do it to. Oh wait its not worth it it was only an iron block......Originally Posted by Mikegotone'02

...So, yeah good results with the S1X. But if you found a deal on the block and cam, i don't see why not. You can always switch cams in the future.
