What is the smallest pulley I can put on w/stock injectors?
What is a good company/software I can get to tune this thing?
I'm about to pick up a Buick Park Ave Ultra, 1996.
thanks in advance.

your going to need exhaust work and other mods to drop pullies. you will be decently moded before you have to worry about injectors.
hptuners for software.
pulley should be your last mod.
you will run out of injector somewhere in the 3.2-2.8 range depending upon your tune and what else you have done.
you cannot just drop pullies on this car. you need a lot more stuff to go with it until you will be able to drop pullies without blowing up your car. this is not a normal blown car like a mustang. you need a ton of work to even get to a 3.0 pulley (one of the big things being a cam or an intercooler).
You see, this is where people get confused. The reason why you can drop pulleys on a cobra is b/c its intercooled. That is why bio suggests and me as well suggest an i/c as a first mod.
cant just go droping pullies on a termi either with out a tune also.
but yea its alot more than just changing a pulley.
im on the stock pulley and run faster than alot of guys with a 3.4 pulley. why? because im not knocking as bad and can use my boost effectivly.
its not all about boost.
For the GP...get in th General Tech Section and read the Safely Modding Your 3800 Thread I wrote...should help you out pretty well since you aren't too familiar with this platform.
Yes...you can...very much so...a lot of Cobra guys run down from the stocker to a 2.85" or 2.76" as a FIRST mod. Like Mini said...they are I/C'ed from the factory so they are a little conservative. And with headers and a intake/ported TB/plenum you can go even lower. Tunes do wake them up a lot but you can drop a pulley without a tune and not have to worry about anything.

just cause you can dont mean you should
most would recemend a tune. if anything fueling is gonna be off somewhat.
Intercooler!!
intercooler aint going to help with fueling...
a 2.76 pulley puts them around 15psi. thats 7 over stock. do you not think it wont lean out under wot??
so its okay to add 7 more pounds of boost to it???
yes you can run it, i have not heard of to many termi's blowing motors. but at the same time ive seen pullied cobras running about the same times as non pullied cobras because the tune is off. so whats the point.
just spoke with a termi owner. they said it was absolutly nessicery to tune with droping pullies. said a/f would be to far off.
when ever you see them moding a cobra on hptv or something they always do a tune with it.
a lean conditon will blow a motor just as fast as knock. well probably faster
More closer to 10psi...not 7. But...You win...I'm not arguing about a Cobra on a GP forum. I know Terminator's quite well since my buddy has 2. One is a pullied 10th Anniv, the other, a 1000hp pump gas TT monster.

what does that have to do with it?? i know some termi owners also, how do you think i asked... hell ask them.
and well, would it not pop a pistion with no gas in there??
Doubt it...its a Ford...those V8's are pretty hard to damage from what I've heard.
