I don't ever remember any specifics on the rods for the L67, the L32's are specific on which side goes toward the front.....but the pistons are the ones that are important. The ID numbers go toward the timing chain end of the engine...meaning that on one side all of the numbers will be right side up, and the other side they will be upside down.
Also, remember that those rod bolts are TTY, so you WILL need to have a new set of bolts, and a torque angle meter. If not, you will spin a bearing because your torque settings are wrong.
