depending upon the size or shape you can fit it in the engine bay like i did. i had everything within 2 feet of where it was going when i was done. not sure if i posted this in here already:
no low level sensor, but id just crack it open when i was filling up with gas to see how much was left. you really dont use it as fast as you think you would. a bottle of washer fluid lasted me about two weeks and when i switched to straight meth it took me a month to clear it out again because i wasnt spraying so heavily on low boost levels anymore.
Cool i was thinking i'd try to start spraying on 8lbs of boost it seems like that's what everyone esle is doing. Also is a wideband a total must for tuning ? Cause them damn things are expensive.
Here is the tank setup i was thinking of getting.
3 quart tank and float level sensor DevilsOwn Injection I was thinking of just running an open cone vs the fwi and mounting the tank to the fender where the filter would usually go and mounting the pump near it or inside the bumper like others have done.
im sure that would all work. a wideband really helps to dial it in, but what youre going to want to do is tune it for without the meth, then start spraying and add timing and boost accordingly.
Cool That's what i planned to have done. I don't have a tuner but i have a friend (Reptile) that has DHP and HP tuners.
I'm running a 3.25 with my current setup of: AL104's, Ported TB & SC, 180* TSTAT, SSAC's, & FWI. I currently have 1.4* of kr and running around 14.5* of timing.
This is without a new tune from the headers being installed.
There's an idea of how to run it. Too bad i have a massive stereo where that sits lol.
Just use your washer fluid tank and mount the pump behind the bumper lika me![]()
My cars a DD unlike yours. I want to be able to use my windshield washers.
windshield washer fluid already has methyl but only like 20-30%. i tapped my methanol setup to my washer tank. got my pump mounted where my A/C condenser use to be. running a tb spacer and a M7 IIRC. since im turbo now i can fully utilize the alky/meth system than when i was using the gen 3 m90. btw, wideband would make tuning very helpful.
Well i'll see if i can find a cheap wideband around.
Springtime bump for someone whos interested...
Your interested in what... Methanol Injection or an inter-cooler... ???
