well ive had good buisness with zzp when i first bought there products. and i still say the hv3 is a good modd for a n/a car, but after asking simple questions through email i get the usual one sentence or one word response and they pick one question out of the email and maybe answear it. and i have emailed about several things but cant get any where! god i cant stand it. i get a better answear from the f.ing wall! i cant say all there products are great because its not true, but there all not bad either. One thing that is true is the customer service (what ever you call it) from Tim is horrible, This is bringing the whole company down and its a shame.
I Havent bought any parts from them for over a year and half. Been going with Intense for the parts i need and couldnt be happier. And customer service is the best there! Untill things get better ill send my money else where.

I had no idea this would end up as a bash zzp thread. just pointing out that some vendors need to check what they have up online

Yeah I'll agree. And the reason it is pricey is because no one else makes them. Wich I belive it is bad for buisness to operate one in this manner. And there made out of the same material as the mustang ones. Or at least I hope. Got I hope they aren't made out of mild steel tubing instead of chromoly.

They don't know it yet but i'm about to cancle my 5987.00 order I placed with them tomorrow morning since it has been three weeks since it has shipped out.

ZZP has always been my vendor. That is going to change this time. Intense here I come.

Eh... It's cool. I think that's mainly my fault. When I replied I was starting to get real fed up with them. Now i'm even more fed up with them. I'll be sure everything I say stay's factual and that nothing in the thread gets out of hand.

Otherwise their's no rules broken because everyone is just expressing their opinions and personal experiences.

I buy a lot from zzp. Those control arms are sexy as hell, i don't care what anyone says. Overpriced? not necessarily, zzp is the only company that invested time and money into designing control arms like that. I just stay away from faulty products that zzp offers *cough cough pcm* You have to remember to is that zzp is a huge company dedicated to more that one type of gm fwd vehicle, they aren't going to know everything. I like zzp, they often do get singled out though. I haven't had a problem with them besides their *cough cough costumer service* but even then it wasn't that bad, and I have saved a few $$ going through them for business vs. some other vendors. I have had way worse experience from other vendors *cough cough w-body store*. Imo zzp isn't as bad as some people make it to be, I prefer going though them due to the fact their shipping is amazing. If im looking for a part, first place i check is zzp.

Did you talk to Matt or are you sure the money cleared? They have been switching around turbo types and kits lately, I would ask them if they are working on an updated kit, say bog warner turbos and a vband downpipe?

His kit has been ready to ship for a couple weeks. He knows why the kit is not shipping out. He just chose to post in a way that would lead people to believe ZZP is being slow. It's an unfortunate situation.

No there is an issue that I am well aware of. And so are they. It's not like there just holding my order. I am just tired of waiting. I've been waiting about 3 weeks now.

I feel that they could do something more for me. And have spoke with eric personally. He has helped a lot but when it comes to 5800 bucks being tied up for that long and being out of a DD it's quite frustrating. And like i said i'm done waiting. Tired of waiting. And this delay has just cost them a sale. And this delay has also cost me a LOT of frustration.

This along with there poor customer service has also cost them a customer. The 1 sentence answers when five questions were asked is also getting old.

Let me give you an example......This was regarding a rollmaster chain that said it was out of stock on their website. I was needing one and was wondering when it was going to be in stock.

When is this going to be in stock again???

    Thank you for your business,

    TDCRacing

We do have the rollmaster, new style, in stock.

    Zooomer

Now it clearly states that it is out of stock on their web site.

Can you give me a link to it? Can't find it anywhere. When i do a search it shows one that is out of stock. Is this something new that you guys just got in?What's the difference?

    Thank you for your business,

    TDCRacing

you have to use the search and type in rollmaster. Then select "new style"

    Zoomer

Now I asked 3 questions and this is what I got back

Where do i select new style at?

    Thank you for your business,

    TDCRacing

Sorry, that option was removed. You can just select double and add to cart.

    Zooomer

    Then he changes his mind.

ALL OF THIS.....And still did not answer half of my questions.

ZZP Let me show you how this should be done. ON THE FIRST EMAIL!

Sir, I'm happy to inform you that we do actually have the rollmaster double in stock. It's just that our site has not been updated to reflect this yet. I appoligize for that. You can simply add it to you're cart and continue the checkout process as normal. We are currently offering the new style, wich has a two peice crank gear (wich I later found out from the receptionist after many back and forth trips from her.)If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Oh and the receptionist is getting pretty old too. They need to put someone on the phone that know's a little bit more about what's going on.

I call and ask her what's the deal with my order and when is it going to ship out? HOLD ON SIR....It's shipping out first thing tomorrow. Ok and also what is the difference with the new style rollmaster's than the old style? HOLD ON SIR.....The new style has a 2 piece crank gear....Ok and also I was suppose to have that shipped out to farnsworth and need to get the tracking info. HOLD ON SIR..... They said it will be shipping out tomorrow....And I also need to verify his address real quick....HOLD ON SIR.....

Try reading the post I just put up.

And the WHOLE ENTIRE ORDER IS NOT SHIPPING BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE BY UPS.

It's not ZZP that is the cause of this. UPS is in the the middle of a tracker process and ZZP chooses not to ship my entire order out becuase of that.

I'm not hiding anything. So don't you imply that I am. Like I said I'm keeping it as honest as I can.

I just talked with eric and this is what he told me. And I understand why MATT. You just have to see where i'm comming from. Eric said ZZP is choosing not to ship you're other order out because of this missing package issue.

I'm not 100% sure what those images are meant to show me. But, if they were on the car in that crash they show me they're plenty strong.

    Exactly my point Matt

He just chose to post in a way that would lead people to believe ZZP is being slow.

Incorrect. ZZP is choosing not to ship my other order that has nothing to do with the missing one. And AGAIN I understand why. But you have to understand what I have been without for three weeks. A car and 5900 bucks.

And Matt while you may have been much better at answering questions that zoomer and tim were it's none of you're concern about what's going on with my package.

Sure I ordered it from you. But it's like you're not even there. All transactions were processed and shipped through ZZP. That's why ZZP is taking care of things and not you.

    Thanks for you're concern though.

Random... lol aeroforce gauge works well

and just to put in my two cents .. ive seen a lot of the complaints about ZZP and it has made me a tad bit shy if you will about buying parts from them i just ordered a cam from them and they called to confirm my address cause it was different than the last order i placed with them and i didnt catch the guys name on the phone but he seemed like he was happy to help me out and make sure there was no problems with the part getting to me so i have yet to experience these nightmare stories i have heard... although i do believe that they have happened to people and i just hope i dont get put in that position

You're right. I'm really not MAD. And I'm not blaming ZZP or anyone other than UPS for this. I'm just frustrated. I am simply sharing my experiences. And i'm trying to be as accurate as possible. And have done so so far.

I'm not saying ZZP is wrong for doing what they are. Wich is holding my order untill this issue is cleared up. Al i'm saying is that I dissagree with what their doing in this case. After all it's my money.

It's not ZZP's fault that I decided to do this to my car. And I have told eric this time after time. But being my only DD and being without it for three weeks is hurting. It was bad enough that I had to wait 5-7 days for the turbo kit to be built.

They have some real good products. And generally I feel that they know there stuff.

Again everyone. This thread turned into something different then what it was ment to be. And I would like the experiences shared about ZZP stay as accurate as possible. We're not doggin or flamming anyone. Just telling past experiences.
