On my 99 GTP I had a leak on my heater elbows so I put in the aluminum ones. I have done this repair before on my wife's old 3.8 NA with no problems. This time when I did it I broke the U shaped vac line coming out of the evap canister control value. I used some heat shrink to seal it up but that didn't work the best and it ran like crap. So round two I used heat shrink and some super glue to seal it up. It idles fine now but I have no boost. The BBV opens and closes if I give it gas so I'm sure that is working. The only thing that i took off was the alt. and I just flopped it over so nothing but this one vac line was disconnected. I just can't figure it out. You think if I didn't let the super glue dry 100% it could of sucked some up in the evap value? Thanks for the help.

check the T on the snout, or the map's vac line. if it breaks you dont read boost. or get any.

One thing to remember is those vac lines after being under the engine bay for 10-15 years become very brittle and can be broken very easily. If they have not been replaced since you owned the car I would just replace everything. Put in new Ts and new lines.

    It's got a vacuum leak.

    Find it.

    Needs new lines, like stated.

It was the T above the heater elbow. I replaced some of the O2 lines too and it is running better. I'm also getting a new idle air control valve.

he means vac lines for sure, but its to the fpr, the map, or the evap, not a o2 sensor.

I meant vac lines. I put O2 because I used some O2 lines from work we use on business jets.
