Yes
Drill a miniature hole in it and tap a small 4d or 6d nail it-----turn it out with a pliers. The nails have a somewhat spade tip that dig.
I wonder how I know all this....mydumbass
I tried drilling it and using an extractor and broke 2 drill bits and got no where with it. It's not flush maybe an 1/8 of and inch inside the shaft.
I got ahold of zzp and for 250 they will send me a rebuit snout for my car and install the pulley for free. Sucks that I can only use gen 5 snouts. My brother has a supercharger in his garage off a 00 gtp that was in good condition when it was pulled off a parts car.
Oh well I guess. Got my car all ready for winter and with the money left over bought a plog 3.5 mps aND solid motor and trans mounts now this. Fml right?!
For $250 you could get an entire blower.
Spend some money on some good drill bits made for metal specifically and you'll be fine. Or if you have a small enough flat head screw driver you could use a hammer to get it into the screw and back it out. The screw shouldn't be that tight in there so it should back out pretty easy
I'll buy some tommorow and try it but I don't think it will do anything. It's in there pretty good.
Thanks spazzz.. I killed 2 titanium drill bits already then I gave up because I was getting pissed off even more then I already was.
if you go to use an extractor do not cheap out, if you break an extractors bit and it gets stuck its virtually impossible to drill through it
i would personally get a left handed drill bit or use a set of mac tool extractors i have
^^^ use left handed drill bit. Slow and steady.

Cobalt bit was a no go. Didn't even start biting into it. So I don't know. I did buy Milwaukee cobalt bit's and extractors.
+3 for left hand drill bit, use a jobber length one ( they are short)
or try this:

they sell them at Home Depot. They are the only extractors I have ever gotten to work.

Yeah slp studs. Used copper anti seize same stuff I use all the time on everything and never had an issue before this. Got sick of spending money on drill bits and brought it to a garage and he ruined a Cornwell rescue bit and he said those have never let him down so he gave me prices on rebuit snouts and I think I'll just buy one myself after seeing his prices lol
