a thermostat and spark plugs are completely different things. a 180* thermostat will help your car to run cooler since the coolant will flow at 180* instead of 195* like the stock one. spark plugs are..spark plugs.
if you buy a plog you can reuse that as well. it replaces the front exhaust manifold, which is the second most restrictive part on these cars behind the downpipe.
the SSM90 kit that ZZP sells is like a top swap, but you dont need a few things that you would from a top swap. it is easier to install by far, but the downfalls of it are that it is more expensive as a whole, the pullies are more expensive than the regular supercharger pullies, and the system runs off of the accessory belt instead of having a two belt system like the GTP does.
