    k heres the deal my 08 gp 3.8 base blew plugs in rear head i did the work myself im not mechanic but i feel im quite capable so i get it all back together and start it up no issues...how ever while sitting idling i press in on the gas pedal and it will only rev to 3500rpm so i put it in drive and push on the gas no issues revs fine 5 grand no problem wondering whats up while sitting in idle

    Rev limter, in park you can only reach 3500-4000 rpm.

    Since that's cleared up, can I ask what "blowing plugs in the rear head means"?
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
