Installed HV3 and ended up with coolant in the intake and white smoke in exhaust. I'm thinking the gasket is bad. Any thoughts?

your coolant ports didnt seal for some reason. or your erg tube has a crack in the intake.

if you mod your lim you wont have this issue any more. http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...highlight=easy

You were spot on . . . I didn't follow the correct torque sequence and torqued the plenum, preventing the gasket from sealing at the coolant ports. Got everything sorted out now. Foueled the plugs from the coolant leak though. i can get it to start and run but will be replacing the plugs and injector o rings this weekend. Luckily I walk to work.

I appreciate your advice! On a tangent, I will be installing TOG headers and zzp 200 cell catted downpipe sometime in the next month. Is there any benefit in increasing the injector capability since I'm opening the airflow through the motor? (Cai>hv3>headers>downpipe>stock cat back.) I think stock injectors are ~22#. Any insight you can offer is appreciated.

I have a zzp 1.0 tune. I got it before looking into mods on forums. Most people seem to favor the overkill tunes to the zzp. The 3-1 and 4-2 shifts are really all I was looking for.

As for future goals: Im looking at the z3 turbo kit from zzp. Not trying to break records with it. Maybe 280-310 hp max. Would it be better to do the headers concurrently with the turbo?

if your gonna turbo dont do the headers, you cant use them with the turbo at all.

turbo stuff is turbo stuff. you use a plog up front, stock manifold on the rear.

Ah... Well thank you for all of your help. Time read up on turbo applications and put a listing up in the for sale section. Thanks again!!

IIRC ZZP has a rear plog now that works with their turbo kits.
