Ive seen a # of threads about throttle body cleaning - they are a bit vague on exact process so I wanted to confirm the following:

1. Do you need to remove the throttle body in order to clean it? Can you just remove the rubber housing, tilt the butterfly opening and spray/tooth brush clean what you can reach? Does anything need to dry before starting the car?
2. Do you need to remove any sensors prior to cleaning a Series III motor (The MAF is near the filter box and not near the TB)?
3. If I need to remove the TB is there anything specific that I need to know?
