    HV3 is more reliable though.

Honestly, cam would be better for powa's.

6000 RPM shift points, L76 springs, headers, WB, tuner, 100 shot.

    100 shot > cam.

Although, I want to do both...so...I'm a hypocrite.

    So...

    heads/cam/nitrous = 3.4"/valvetrain setup?

The lulz...especially if I can do it on the cheap.

You have a cam in the mail, I'm snagging a NEX kit from my Mustang buddy who sold his car..this is going to be funny.

Can the HV3 insert alone have noticable gains? Well with the Intake i have here, but i do know a tune will help all those mods out.

    Not really.

Stock valvetrain doesnt flow well up there and the car shifts too soon for it to be worth it.

    Get flow mods.

Then get more intake based mods.

    Get a tune.

Enjoy making maybe 200 WHP and still running 15's.

Hey any one know what i can use to replace that accordion thingy, i cant find anything with a hole to put that little vacuum hose in. We dont have any drills to make a hole but what do you guys think we can or should get? We tried to look for something at the Home Depot. but nothing there that can be clamped to the TB and the MAF. Also the intake is too long do we cant use anything thats really big.

Forgot to mention thanks for the link but its too expensive compared to the 2$ PCV pipe we just brought from Home Dept. and clamped that in place very nicely. Question though, what is that little Vac for that we had to make a hole and plug in for? So here it is finished and final, only time we will takes this off is to clean the TB in summer. i should really make a ride thread.

So ya the hole on the pipe was a little to big so we put tape on the edges of the vac and plugged it in and it seems to be air tight, so is ok and what is it for?

it leaks doesnt it, right at the TB.

    That looks like air injection.

The changes in diameter in the PCV don't help much either.

That is the most Ghetto intake i've ever seen. At least put a rubber coupler on that pvc you attempted to clamp down... There's no way your gonna get hose clamps to tighten pvc. Come on guy!

yeah its kinda ghetto looking for sure, the first time you go wot, and then hit the brakes, that things coming off. if it hasn't happened already.

pvc has NO flex to it, and can not be clamped. you need a coupler for that part.

and turn the bolts on the clamps so they are under the intake, so we/you cant see them, you got them all uneven and ugly looking for sure.

Lmao! Who knew that home depot would b the go-to performance shop for ricers around the country! Might as well pick up some gutter guard to make some grills, and some garage door seal strip to make a lower valance.
