    There are a number of block differences if your asking about internals. Actual block casting, no. L36 has longer rods,shorter pistons, non coated pistons,and tighter ring clearances as opposed to the l67. The l26 has stronger rods then the l36

    block itself...only thing that really matters to me is the crank.
    2001 Regal GS, PLOG, 3" DP, 1.9's/L76 springs. 21* of timing on a 3.4"
