Okay, we can get back on topic rather than arguing about headers.. there are arguments both ways and too many types of headers to compare accurately by what people say.

As far as the install goes, it is pretty easy. The only part not mentioned is removing the straw that is part of the PCV system. You will know what it is when you get there. I had do use my Dremel to remove the tabs that held it in place - nothing major.

To do the install, I first unbolted the injectors. Then I unbolted the rest of it. I was able to pull the Upper plenum out completely so I could actually get the HV3 in. It is a very snug fit. After that make sure you put all the bolts back in and tighten them to their torque specifications.

If I were you, I'd save my money and do the HV3/Downpipe at the same time. You will really notice a difference, especially with a custom tune. It will be worth the wait, trust me. I have a N/A monte SS with a Custom CAI (I made the box out of plexi, it's similar to ZZP's) with a 9'' K&N filter, 2.5" DP (Plenty for a N/A setup), HV3, Custom tune. I also have a Ported throttle body that is sitting on my desk. Car is definitely peppier, especially in the high rpms. It pulls pretty hard on the freeway

    Hope this helps!

They port the backside after the inlet and MAF sensor. It isn't a major change (3mm, granted it's diameter) and I have had many people say I won't need a re-tune Including ZZP; Stage two, however, does need a re-tune. I only have Stage one. I'll probably get a more intense tune this summer anyway as I've added more mods since the last one and it was rather basic.

stock GT TB flows .021 Grams a sec 3 mm porting would bring it to roughly .023. A stock GTP flows .024. Id tune for it.

As I said, I'll probably be getting one in the summer.. for time being it will do no harm although I could only benefit from a tune. I still need to get around to doing it anyway

Only way to know if you need a tune is to Scan. If your car was kind of rich then maybe you wont. If your car was on the lean side then this could toss you over the threshold.

ZZP's ported throttle bodies suck. Proven time and time again to cause idle issues.

I wouldn't have wasted my money. For the same price you probably could have bought ER Rockers and gone faster.

Not to be a jerk or anything.. but your attitude towards certain things at time bugs me haha.. Anyway.

I got the TB like new for $150 shipped to my house. It had under 1000 miles on it. I've heard only good things about it and have talked to people who also have personal experience with it. Rockers would be nowhere even close to $150. New ER rockers are 300 from ZZP, Plus bolts and gaskets will set you back at least another 40. Plus shipping. If I did that I'd also change out valve springs so I could re-tune.. It would be well over $400 all said and done...

I guess I might as well have just top swapped, or perhaps even gone turbo.

I'll sell you a stock L67 TB with all sensors 99+ style for $50 + shipping...

ZZP TB's are known for not having the throttle plate matching the bore properly hencing having idle issues... You can't argue that.

I priced out basic N/A mods... you might as well go M90'd or turbo.

I'm sorry that your upset I'm trying to save you time and money? And there are used rocker sets with comp bolts going for what...less than $200 or so on here...and I'm sure you can wait a week or two and spend another 50 bucks...plus, VC gaskets are cheap too.

You need a tune when anything is changed around the MAF area IMO. Ported TB, Different TB, External MAF placement, etc.
