Hi all, I have a 2000 GP GT, It started out by dieng when taking off from a stop, It would'nt start every once and a while and if i let it sit for 5 / 10 min it would run fine, the car would run perfect or not at all. I changed the fuel filter and was pluged with sludge, i changed the crank sensor, one of the coil packs that was visably cracked, the oil was full of gas from cranking it over so i changed the oil, the water pump was leaking so i changed it out, thinking that was what messed up the crank sensor. I have put it all back together now and it's not even starting at all.. Its getting gas in the rail, and i checked one of the wires for spark and it's not getting any.. I dont know what else to do!

thanks for your time and any help is welcome, ToXiC

Have you checked all the underhood fuses?

Does the tach move while trying to start it?

ignition control module possibly? was the crank sensor causing u to stall? or were u just getting codes for it?

Hey Pinsc, ignition control module could be my problem, im going to check that out... and the car won't even start now that i changed the crank sensor, so im gussing its not the problem. I havent ran a code check on the car since the last time I had problems with it, It threw a mass air sensor code so i unpluged it and it ran fine untill a few months later and the stalling issues all came up. havent ran a code since. Thanks for the help guys..

You ran the car without the MAF for a while?

Did you ever go WOT? Because thats not good for the car.

The MAF is a VERY important sensor. Replace it.
