I've seen a few other threads, but none seem to really help me pinpoint exactly where to jack my 2008 GP (3.8L v6). Im changing oil and until now I've had a pit to work in, never jacked this before.

So my question is, if anyone could give me a real picture of where to jack it, and where to put the stands? I've seen some drawings but they're hard for me to figure out what exactly they're drawings of.

jack it from the front, in the center where the big thick beam is. I don't know if thats part of the cradle or not. once i get it jacked up there, i put the jackstands near the wheels. theres some metal beams there. i dont know what they are called. just pick solid metal parts that is part of the frame

don't use the pinch welds, they'll bend and rot out.

Pinch welds work fine. As long as they are not rusted out.

use the thick solid part of the frame, you'll see what i mean when you look under the car. its not part of the cradle. or use the pinch welds, yours should still be fine on an 08
