    Ok so I finally got all the parts(except the harmonic balancer) now I gotta order
    -zzp top swap gasket set
    -1.9 rockers
    -180° tstat
    -SSAC headers(do I still need downpipe?)
    -still debating between PRJ Wires vs ZZP wires...
    -autolite 104's
    -canned or custom tune
    Am I missing anything guys?

    Get parts store wires with a lifetime warranty. THE END on that one...

    downpipe comes with the headers.

    And the 180* t-stat will do nothing except hurt fuel economy.

    Can I run a 3.5 pulley with this setup?

    Have to tune it with a stock pulley first. See if you have knock. Timing>boost

    Your missing the fact that dropping pulley sizes isn't where the power gains is. It is the flow and timing. You can run more timing on a 3.8" pulley and go faster than a 3.5" pulley car that is knocking or with well less timing.

    ohh ok I see, that makes sense.I just wish i had a custom tuner in my area but stock 3.8 mps it is for now...

    Gen V, 3.0, Stage 2 heads, XP Cam, SD Headers, N*, LQ4, ZZP Stage 2 Gen 3 Intercooler, CAI, AL 104's Gapped to .055, #130 Springs, 42.5lb Injectors, ZZP Tune.

    Exactly what i was gonna say. I have been wanting to top swap for the longest until i found out that i have to get an 04+ tranny for everything to work right because my impala is a 2000. I recently decided to just do a complete l67 engine+tranny swap. I also have the money ready but i need help installing them and tuning. We should definetly meet up tho. I'll pm you my info.

    Top swap means keeping your factory tranny.... as well as your factory short block.

    You shouldn't have ANY issues swapping on either an l67 or l32 top end.
