Well, I'm lookin for a new car, not sure how much $ I wanna play with yet. Preferably something about 04-06... maybe 08 or 09 if Im getting a good deal on it. I thought about the new G8, but don't really like the new Pontiacs.. (99 GT FTW!!!) So... Any advice... What advantages does an 04 Pontiac have over my current 99 one, cause so far, I haven't found any.. I kinda like the heavy body of my 99, gives me something to throw around at the ricers on the road who try to tailgate me.. (FYI, I don't use brakes... an empty trunk is NOT a good weapon... But Front ends work WONDERS >=-D) so... not too sure where to go... This will probably be a DD car, but I aint tryna look like a Pu**y in it either.. I thought maybe Altima 2.5S; 3.5, or something along the lines of Mitsubishi. It NEEDS to have good/great gas mileage (over 25MPG @ LEAST), needs to be a coupe preferably, and I'll leave it there so far... any thoughts?

P.S.- I'm currently listed as a "student" again... so This will be a DD as a student, and also a "play with" car... lolz. I'll prolly be keeping the 99GT as well... MAYBE... unless I get the proper specs on something better thats = to your opinions... G-d Forbid!- a Pontiac. lol.

Good luck finding an evo in good shape for a good price. Most I have seen have high miles, tuned incorrectly, smoked in, no warranty (just a d!ck hair over manufacture warranty), and still expensive for what you get.

I would go with an STI over and evo though

If I were to get something DD and a Toy it would be a GTO. 05-06 would be ideal because of the LS2, although the 04 LS1 ain't so bad either. Both flavors have endless potential and even with some serious mods the 6spd cars can get really decent gas mileage (I've heard of several hitting 25 mpg highway easily). Auto cars can get into the 20s too, depends on how you drive.

From what you listed, this would suit your needs nicely and be the most fun. Besides, LSX FTW...
