    Done, no LIM change yet, but the elbows are in and the old "heater couplers" are holding, so far so good. Thanks for the good advice I found here.

    easy fix although in 98 the one tube is metal and none of the walk through's show that one, all they said was make sure you don't pry only wiggle. mine was in there pretty damn good; i just don't see why they didn't make both metal?

    ^^i kno rite woulda been one less gm headache if they woulda used metal elbows

    ^^^ Definitely would have been a non-repair (issue) if they were metal here too. Somebody ought to make them in aluminum (or something).
