I was looking on craigslist and some guys are selling some turbo chargers for good deals. I know i can make just about any turbo work, but what will work well on an 04 gt? Also, where can i find the other parts i will need like hoses and oil lines ect... thanks

You bought your car used right?

You just have to ask yourself some things. Are you willing to fabricate the mounts. Are you willing to do research on what turbo would make a good setup? Are you willing to peice through everything to make a kit that will work?

    And last.......

Are you willing to spend AT LEAST 7000.00? If not then don't bother. Your going to need lots of supporting mods depednign on how much power you want to be making such as injectors, Built transmission, BAP,TUNER,WIDEBAND I mean the list goes on.

If your considering a turbo then your considering making a LOT of power. If your not then you should not be considering one. But should rather consider a top swap instead.

For a turbo build that is done right your looking at 4000.00 for the transmission alone shipped to your door.

Just some things to think about.

Would you want something one off that has been tested over and over not to break even on the 700+ HP TT cars? You pay for what you get...something that will last forever

yea, but at the same time, it has to be made some where. so someone with mechining and maybe fabrication abilites could probably reproduce one.

    just sayin....

All bs aside, you could probably find a good used turbo kit for under $2000 and run high 12's consistent low 13's, also could demod it in less than a day too without having to go inside the engine/tranny.

I'm not demodding. Who in the right mind would spend over $4k on a 10 year old grand prix without a good backup plan?
