    Greetings,

Looking for some instructions or advice on the best way to remove the starter on a 97 GT. I've done alot of starters in the past but mainly on much older cars. From what I can see, it looks pretty straight forward but I'm curious where the possible pitfalls are. Do they use shims on the mount, etc. Thanks in advance.

Did my 97 GT last year its pretty much straight forward, I didn't have to shims or anything. got my starter from advance auto parts since they carry delco remy. figured I can't go wrong since deco remy is what originally came with the car.

No shims. Just two started bolts and the wires on tha started. You can do it in about 10 minutes.
