But it cheaper necessarily better? We won't be doing the work ourselves, just have no mechanical knowledge or experience. He really likes the car a lot, so we'd like to be able to keep it going for quite a while, and not have to worry about a used engine crapping out on us. We've also had some friends that are into racing, or that do their own repairs tell us that sometimes there are compatibility issues with having a different engine in there and the electrical and computer systems. Have you run into that?
