Hi, I have a 2008 Pontiac Grand with the 3.8, and about 2 weeks ago, I had trouble starting it. Like it would crank but die right away. Try it again and it would just kinda be clicking. Turn the key off and then try starting it again while giving it gas it would fire up. So I hooked my code reader up to it and the code was a "P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor 'A' Circuit Malfunction." First thought of course was that the crank position sensor was bad. So I took it to napa had them replace it, when they replaced it, I took off and it did the same thing. I went back and asked them if they reprogrammed it, and they said that they didn't, when they had tried it just kicked them out.
At first I thought they were just feeding me some bull, so I went to a buddy of mine who had a snap-on scan tool and the same thing happened. So what could be the deal? I took a look at it yesterday and no wires seem frayed, and I checked voltage on the pigtail and I had power down there, so what are my other options?
On side note, idk if a battery would have anything to do with it, but I went on a four day vacation, this past weekend, and when I got back I tried to start my car, the battery was dead, quick boost helped that problem and its good ever since.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance!
