No lean or rich codes and the diagnostics show that the air fuel mixture is AOK. Only cylinder misfiring is #6 which is where I've been hearing a noise which I assume is coming from the lifters and pushrods on the driver side (rear) of the engine I can hear it between 1800-2000 rpms until the sound of the engine drowns it out. Cylinder 6 is rear bank on the driver side so I probably have a bad seal in the LIM allowing the sound to escape into the engine bay. I have no milky oil but it smells sickeningly sweet as does the exhaust.
And to answer the question Scotty rode my ass about, seeing as how my old gaskets had a thin layer of oil between them and the block, it's not far fetched to think that oil can get into the coolant passages coming from the block to the LIM. Oil from the lifter valley can seep into the coolant if there's a poor seal, as the coolant cools it condenses which will cause a sucking action through the coolant system.
