Thread: p0101 - would this Check Engine Code cause high idle ?

my '01 3.1L Grand Prix idles at 3500rpm and does not go down.
Pulled the code and it read p0101 -- MAF sensor issue.
Would this code cause a high idle ?

start your car and go pull the sensor while its running to see if it changes anything.

I haven't had the chance to do this yet, but I will .. thanks

Never unplug or plug in a sensor while it's powered up. Always do it w/o the car running.
