first of all.... you!!! my damn thread title lol...... its to be expected I guess.
the trans didnt seem like it was doing this before the chain install but its hard to tell with a noisy broken flex plate.
now the noise is gone but shifts weird.
I have a few vids I made with the car in DRIVE and the parking brake on it has a chatter in the trans...
at 65ish on the interstate when I step on it the tach climbs but the speedo doesnt.
since I did the 7/8s chain replacement now it seems like 3rd and 4th slip. id hope its related to me doing the chain swap. and im hoping maybe the chatter is something going on with the pump.
now mind you I never had any problem putting it back together I didnt force anything or beat on anything and no I didnt have any parts left over!
ill open the side cover this weekend again. if this doesnt work then ill pull the transmission after that.
Odd its doing this now after a chain replacement. I never had the valve body off the channel plate so I dont think its anythimg with the vb.
