    Discussed a hundred times blah blah blah

    Now that I said it first I'm picking up a shift kit and some dex6

    Anyone have a better recommendation then Transgo?

    My recommendation is to leave it stock.


    2001 GTP Drag Car - XPZ, Tischler heads, Upsidedown M90 IC'd, e85, Gen V, 2.3 w/ 5%OD
    2005 F350 6.0 - studded, deleted, tuned
    2001 GTP - cam, headers, nitrous, stock trans - 11.83 @ 116 <$2k in mods - sold

    Yeah because that's gunna happen. Car shifts like my 4yr old.

    Only way it stays stock is if increasing line pressure is a better alternative

    I have the bastard child of a Thrasher/ZZP mix up. Don't ask. Long story short, it breaks my teeth when I shift at WOT. I put a Transgo in a friend's car and it got rid of his PCS issue and didn't make the shifting all that harsher.

    I just imagine after awhile you'll get tired of chirping your tires every time w/ the thrasher/intense kit

    I dont necessarily want harsh shift. Just faster/quicker shifting. The lag between gears isn't acceptable.

    I'm pleased with my transgo shift kit. Shifts are quicker but not harsh at all.

    On a stock transmission, it is a better alternative.
