shift kit is an easy, cheap mod right... well I read this off zzp's shift kit,

"Our transmission shift kit improves the shifting of any 4T65e. It works on the standard and HD versions of the transmission and can be installed in 2 hours. Shift kits can increase the chance of hard part failure but they do keep the clutches from slipping and burning. We do not recommend this kit for cars running 20" wheels."

ok well I have 20" rims so my question is, WHY NOT ?

yeah, I can see that but I figured the shift kit would be an upgrade and if anything, recommended with 20" rims....

A shift kit will help save the clutches but as far as the 20" rims, if you dont beat on your car all the time i think you would be fine... as long as your not making too much power, thats when you start to break stuff. But yea you will be fine if you just want to help your tranny out by installing the kit.

They are not worth what most companies are selling them for. But they are worth the time to install them and $10 for the parts.
