Im leaking tranny fluid pretty much everyday but most days its like a dot or two. But every once in a while ill have a small puddle and thats what happened this morning. I havent been able to pinpoint where the hell its comin from, at first i thought it was my gasket but i pour then quickly go under the car and like 10sec later it leaks somewhere above the tranny pan bolts, further up the tranny. It has been like this since i installed my shift kit so what could it be? any help please.

I have the car on ramps right now and did the test again to try and get a better idea but still cant find the source.I pour fluid, look under car, 10secs later i see the fluid trickle down a portion of the tranny and drips from the pan.

the tube is in the back side above the pan on the d/side, it may have a crack in it, if its leaking right after you pour in fluid.

Ahh that kinda sucks. The odd thing that gets me though is that before i did my shift kit I barely leaked but since then every couple of weeks it would be at least 2-3oz of fluid loss in my driveway. But is it as simple as puling out the dipstick tube and relacing it or do I have to take apart stuff?

at the bottom of the tube is a 10 mm bolt, remove it, pull tube up, and its out. im not 100% sure but it may have a O ring at the bottom too.

is that the area the leak is from, d/s back of trans?

not sure never yanked one with a full trans, put a small bucket under to be safe.
