I have a 04 gtp comp g with tap shift. I've read that the transgo shift kit works on all transmissions except tap shift. Has anybody done a shift kit in tranny with tap shift?

Often a shift kit/lucas is used to bandaid the P1811/PCS issue. In this case Jeff was asking and I told him it wouldn't hurt anything to add it instead of a quart of fluid.

Glad to hear it will work. Ordered the transgo kit from triple edge performance today. Can't wait to get it in. I hate the first to second gear shift.
