Thanks for the help guy's, so this would be done from drivers side right. and can i leave the motor and tranny together?

Yup.. you support the body of the car. Support the drivetrain from above and pull the cradle. Then lower the drivetrain (biased to driver side if possible and then you can sneak the cover off the trans.

well i decided to get another trans but i was wondering if i get the 2004 trans will all the plugins from my 2001 harness fit into the 2004? and do i have to change anything to get the 04 to work in my 01?Originally Posted by BillBoost37

From what I've heard..it works fine. Do a search on trannyman and I'm sure he's mentioned it before.
