I need to get a tranny for my GTP. I have posted and had some response on another GP forum about using newer than '03 trans in my car. I am told I can use a non-tapshift unit from '04-'07 just fine, as long as I have correct bin put into pcm and may have to convert fluid line hookups. So what I am looking at doing is getting a '07 trans and getting a new DHP set up for the '07 tran and my '99 motor. Does anyone here have any opinions on why this would not work, or any other suggestions. One guy on the other forum says he already has an '06 tran in his '02 GTP with no problems. Just looking for more info before shelling out the money. Don't wnat to end up looking like a. Thanks for any responses.
