First of all I would like to say hello, I am a fellow GP owner and think GP's are one of the best all around cars but they do have their issues.

I was looking for a little feedback reguarding my tranny. I looked at about 100 threads and there are issues close to mine but not right on the money. The problem I have has been going on for some time, I have replaced a few things in the front end thinking that was the issue, but after finding this site I found info letting me knwo I have been looking in the wrong spot.

My car currently has 91,000, the issue is when I am high speeds around 65 to 70 mph it feels like the front end is shaking. When you are cruising and the engine and trans is warm only and when it's warmer it seems to be worse. When it's cold the issue doesn't happen until the car gets warm after some driving and during the winter it seems to bang into gear in the moring. This has been going on for 20,000 miles but now I want to say I feel it happening at lower speeds while accelerating.
Also when I am cruising at 65 and punch it it the tach jumps up to 5K and it feels like the tranny is going to blow up until it jumps back to gear.

A year or so back I had it scanned and nobody was able to find anything.
I am going to go again and have it scanned to see if there is any info stored now since it seems to be getting worse.

The engine runs like a top and the body is in great shape so I hate to get rid of it, I am thinking it's the PCS but not 100% sure and I would hate to put somthing else into the car and not fix this issue because it drives me crazy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Jeff

Thanks for your reply but I would think if it was any of those issues it would happen all the time not just when it's warm. I have replaced most of that stuff already and it's still the same.
