I don't have any direct experience with the Intense kit, but using their website as a reference, it looks like a pretty good kit. Good score for $10. Seems to have everything you need for the install also.

Do the instructions give you a good idea of what springs and spacers give for shift feel? Like, use this spring and shim combo for a softer shift, or this spring and shim combo for a firmer shift...? The Trans-Go kit is kind of a "one size fits all." I think it's more for eliminating the P1811 code than for any kind of performance gains.

You don't need to do anything to the tune, but it might be a good idea to disconnect the battery to reset the T.A.P. values.
