alright so I've been trying to get the airbag assembly off for awhile now but I can't get it to release. Does anyone have some pointers because I can't seem to figure it out

Did you turn the wheel to make it easier on yourself?
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

ya I just couldn't seem to move the bar. I went to the junk yard today and found a leather steering wheel without the airbag. I tried getting it off but it wouldn't budge. I had all the bolts loose but it just seemed like it was still attached some how. Does anyone know of a video on this?

It's like harpooned into the steering wheel. You've got to like jimmy it out. That tutorial pretty much covered it. A movie would be awesome, but you'd have to use one of those little cameras with the lights on it that they like... inspect urethrae with. Just showing a guy puking a wire into his steering wheel probably isn't much help.
