    Hey guys,

I have an 04 grand prix gtp.
Looking to buy a shift kit, trans cooler, and anything that could help me do a fluid exchange

You'll need a 10mm socket and ratchet, and a torque wrench that'll do either 10 ft lbs or 120 inch lbs. A cooler and shift kit won't help you do a service on it.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

The parts store is the best place to buy fluid and filter.

You won't save any money buying stuff from someone on here. You'll need 8 quarts of dexron 3 or 6 and the filter.

wallmarts got cheap tranny fluid, buy the 2 gallon jug. filters are 15 bucks at the parts store, a shift kit is 40 off ebay. re use the stock pan gasket. get 2 cans of brake cleaner to clean the pan, gasket and the shift kit parts that come off.

Thanks for the responses guys. I bought the filter and kit today on ebay. I'm still looking for a transmission cooler, but I'll probably just buy that on ebay too lol.
