Thread: wtb built trans

cammed and swapped my grand prix put a rebuilt stock trans in killed it two weeks later. looking for something a little more stout

looking to keep it under 2 grand. i was looking at the basix hp at tep but the core fee i think is deal breaker for me. i am hoping someone in the pa maryland area has something they are willing to part with.but will pay shipping on a good buy

if you look at the basix, you will see that there is no core fee and the shipping is included

It will come with a 7/8" gearset, and you can pick the ratio, unless you want something different. It will also have new 4th clutches.

At the time it was rebuilt:
-Full High Performance Rebuild
-12 Clutch 3rd clutch set
-Sonnax TCC apply and regulated apply valves
-All new solenoids
-Transgo shift kit and boost valve set
-New forward apply band
-Intense input shaft
-Custon built Precision Industries torque converter with 3200 stall speed
-Hardened 4th Clutch hub

I would be willing to bet this transmission is built stronger than a basix.

The non core is on the non hd trans

As with our other rebuilds- these will be built per order and vehicle application. There are simply too many variations to have one of everything ready to go at all times. We typically have about a 2 week turnaround time for our standard type rebuilds which will also apply to our new Basix line.
