I'm not sure what dirrection I need to go. I would like to black out my headlights and taillights, I know that light transmision would be partially blocked with the headlights so I think I need to swap out my foglights for more powerful ones. The problem is that I have a 08 grandprix and there are also turn signal/parking lights in the fog housings. What should I do?
    Thank you all in advance,
    ~Drew

Your foglights aren't going to be a replacement for your headlights no matter what bulbs you put in them. They're not designed to have the same beam pattern as your headlights.

Your best option would be to upgrade your headlights to HID's.

thats what I was afraid of. I figured if i just changed the bulbs and not the housing I would mely the fog housings.
Are we sure if i upgrade the actual headlights they would be bright enough?
If I just kept the brights on all the time would that be enough to safely frive with?
If that is the case how exactly do I keep the fogs on with the high beams?
    Thanks

you shouldn't have to use your brights if you go with HID's as your low beams. my heads, tails, and fogs are all tinted with HID's and I don't have a problem with seeing. mine are still brighter than they were untinted with halogens

Whats the easiest way to replace your foglights? just jack the car up or removing the bumper?

i've got an '06 and unless they changed the way they're installed, there should jsut be two screws right on the front of the lense of each foglight and the whole housing should just pull out.
