Just a question regarding the install of the headlight housing with the projectors in them. Classy Retrofit projector headlight housings. What needs to be done to the car itself to make the housings fit? Something behind them needs to be cut, what kind of tools do people use? Any pictures of said modification?

You have to cut a bit of the metal behind the headlight

oh that is easy, just need a 2" hole saw bit for my drill to go through some plastic on the car behind where the projector is sitting

You might have to cut into the metal bracing too. It just depends on clearance and what projectors you go with and how far back they're mounted.. Easy fix.

The 6.0s were redesigned many times since that thread was made. The projectors sit much farther back no with new bowl design and with the new Morimoto bulbs. You will most likely have to cut some metal away. A drill, dremel, etc would be an ideal tool. We use a rotary file when doing installs on vehicles.
