I have a project gp and would like to go ls4 and do a dash swap of some kind, what dash would be easiest to get in, I've heard of an 06+ Impala interior In a w body Monte, would anything like this be possible with a 1998 gp?

    Different car, different dimensions.

But I'm sure anything is possible with time and money.

Anything is indeed possible. If you are shopping for a selection of what car's dashes screw right in with what amount of mods, you won't find that. Similar year F-body cars might be really easy but why? If fabrication and "making it work" are not issues... well I can tell you that 97-03 and 69-77 dashes are within two inches width. The 69 has a fiberglass shell, unbolts easily as an assembly and looks wicked. I'd bet all 2nd gen F-bodies and 64-77 A-bodies are in the neighborhood as well. But I am probably going in the wrong direction year-wise. Can you tell I have considered this previously? lol. I still have that 40th interior if'n you need any of it BTW.

So how difficult would an f-body install be? And what 40th parts do you have?

    F-Body isn't even remotely close.

What are you trying to do here?

And LS4/GXP is basically the same as any '04+ GP.

Too many parts to list. Most of exterior destroyed in a rollover but have deck lid and some moldings and almost everything interior and underhood. Just ask for what you need.

Nobody can tell you anything about how hard these swaps are unless they have done it a couple times. I do 't think you'll find that person here. I also, am curious about the motivation behind this.

I'm probably going to sound harsh, but it sounds me like the old if you have to ask then you probably shouldn't do it or aren't even capable of doing it type of things.

This whole things sounds to me like you were sitting there one day and like, "Maybe I could swap a LS4 into my project car" and you did zero research into it.

I am being helpful. Yes, you gotta start somewhere, but you don't start with a swap like this. You start with something smaller.

Then go do it......and post pics of it finished. Don't complain on the interwebs when people don't jump up and down praising your idea.

Personally I love the idea of trying to do something different. Get a F-body dash and a GP dash side by side and see what needs modified.

You know, I'm just saying, if you have the skill set to do it then why are you asking if it can be done?
