I've heard ammonia can remove tint pretty effectively...

Try degresser I used it to take off my tint, I sprayed it on the window put a bag on the window left it over night it peeled off clean and windex of the rest.

My back window starting to bubble up and turn purple... Had them tinted back in 05. wonder if I should just tint over them rather than removing them and starting over??
I've never seen a window so blurry like this one!!! I've seen them sticky and yucky but never this
Ok scottydoggs I tried the Steele wool with soap and water, alcohol, purple power, ammonia, paint thinner and it did not budge at all, whatever is on it is hard and like tent and will barely flake if I use my finger nail

Get large garage bag open it up with a razor knife. Spray down the window on the tint side with degresser. Let it sit over night then peel off everything.

Have you ever heard of purple power? It's a degresser and wonder if it's strong enough, I know I used oven/grill cleaner on my motor and it works, wonder if it will work good?

Yea, I used the cheap stuff and it worked just fine just spray it on generously and let it sit

I got the bag on it and it's been on awhile and it's stuck on there good, when I peel the bag off will the tint or what's left of it come off with it or will it scratch off easy or what

Yeah it'll come off in one piece the glue will get dissolved and a Terry clothe will wipe it off clean
