There's like a 2" gap between the headlights and center side of the bumper on my 01 gtp. Headlights are stock. How do I fix this? Is there a way to adjust the lights inward? Do you think there are bent bracets? I suspect the car has been in some sort of front end accident because the door slightly rubs the fender when I open it. How do I fix this also?
    Thanks!

    Pictures?

And the door on fender problem is normal, the hinge sags over time and starts to clip the fender. Just take a pry bar with a rag over the end and with the door slightly open push the fender out a little.

I had aftermarket headlights and they didn't fit properly. Huge gap like you described. It's like they were an inch to small.

It's adjustment screws on the headlight that can control how far out it sits from the grill somewhat.

Here's pictures and part numbers. Pretty sure they're stock.

Try the adjustment screws to move the headlight from side to side.

Honestly the car just sits at my parents house so I'm not even sure how the lights perform. I just bought it to make some money on but I've been busy and I cant figure out how to align the damn window regulator

I'd check and see if the brackets are seated correctly-- there are tabs on the back of the bracket that have to slide into place.

There are two adjustment screws on the headlights. One of the moves it up and down while the other does side to side.

Forgot which screw does what, but all you need to do is screw the correct one and the headlight will move closer to grill.

Also known as.... Aiming your headlights. You might want to give that a try.

I have no clue if it's been in a wreck or not. I just bought it a few months ago. Clear title and I bought it from the second owner and he didn't know of any so I'd assume not.
I'll look at the bracket and give the adjustment screws a try when I get up there to it again
