That comes with their $150 HID kit though. Which is a hell of a lot better than what you and I are using. Trust me on that.

If you want halos, you can choose that option in that package there too and they'll send you the matching size.

Look at my thread in the member's ride section to see my install with the amber halos. Do keep in mind they don't "fit on" you have to glue them. Use JB weld or something. I used gorilla glue, but I'm worried about them.

So I found all the pages I used when researching and trouble shooting my retro project. There's like a good 15 or so.

If you want me to post them I can but if you're not gonna use them or don't want them i'd rather not. lol 'lotta work

Most ebay projectors are. HID works in them, but they don't perform as well as actual HID projectors. On the flip side, halogen H1s will NOT fit in in HID projectors. So don't try putting a halogen H1 in your mori's

The first link is the thread I made when I first started thinking about retro fitting. I never really went back and posted the results. I ended up painting the housings black and using Duplicolor shadow chrome to make the shroud black chrome. I can post pics if you want.

ya....not all are write ups but they give you some ideas to toss around. Some of them may also be for when I was trouble shooting, I had issues with my harness at first.

That post should be stickied in it's own thread as a retro resource!

Good thing I bookmarked all of the links made it easy.I almost deleted the folder with the links a few weeks ago but I had a feeling they would come in handy eventually. lol

I'm just glad I was finally able to help someone else out and contribute to the site. Been a member for a while but I usually lack the knowledge and experience needed to help others out.

Just have a spare set to use on the car meanwhile and work on the retro pair little by little when you have the time. It can be tedious work..I prefer not to do it all at one time.
