Welp, I paid $1000 for the car, put a tranny in, and attempted to fix the faded paint via buffing, waxing and touch up... still looks like poop. So I guy I know has some extra 1 stage flat black and clear that he said he'd sell me for $85 and I'll just paint it in my detail shop....

Any other ideas as far as color that would look better? I think canary yellow would look SIIIIICK

if you still have paint on the car, why not wet sand the whole car, and then buff it with some real good polishes and waxes? with a buffer.

if you have deep scratches this would be a good time to pin some paint in the scratch, and sand it smooth. some rattle can clear coat over the repair and it could come back to life. test spot on the hood maybe, its a lot of work, but your going to sand it to paint it so maybe its worth a shot.

Flat black rarely looks good unless done absolutely perfectly. I think purple would be sick, but also the green color like on the new camaros would be interesting.

Only reason I'd do flat black is cuz I could get the paint and clear cheap. otherwise yellow (the yellow thats on some 2000-2004 monte carlos)... I'd consider purple but I'm a dude and I like vagina, so idk...
Green... eh.... Idk I might do purple. My company colors are purple white and gold (town colors, my business is INDIANOLA tint and detail, indianola high school colors are purp white n gold) so I might, with some gold or white accents...
