So I just sanded and painted my wheel well areas with the matching color and it matches pretty much perfectly, ive just got some overspray and i also want to use a rubbing compound to buff it. How long should I wait before I clay bar and buff? Also could I rinse the car with water now? its pretty dry i just want to get all the **** off the car lol thanks

I'd wait a few days before spraying any water on it, or driving it. Let the clear cure.

I've always waited 30 days before I've hit anything I painted with any sort of buffing/clay/wax, so that the paint is fully cured.

Use a little bit of acetone, and rinse the area of overspray with a little water when you're done. Works like a charm
