You'd HAVE to get it done right. There are a few flat black cars around, and they looks almost the same as the primer camaro around here.

I know about all the problems with flat black paint, ie. every time you touch it with anything it leaves kind of a white line behind until you wash it. Had a jeep that was murdered flat, looked bad F***EN ass.

there is also a G35 around here that is done in flat, it looks good except for the gloss red tails...

just didnt know what the GP would look like flat... or any 4 door car with smooth lines. have a mental image of it, and it doesnt look that good, hoping there is a pic that would change my mind...

who knows, i might 'goth' it out, metallic silver base, hit it with some black from a torch and some crumpled up newspaper, then a few coats of candy apple red ontop.

anyone else have any ideas that are kind of 'one of a kind', that i could steel?

    thanks for all the input.

flat black 70 malibu.... Looked amazing.

But i highly doubt a GP would look good in anything but gloss.

^ thats what I was thinking while looking at the GP, but I was hoping I was wrong because flat black is bad ass.

my bike is flat and i wish i would have taken the time to actually make it a nicer color. it looks cool from like 20 feet away, but other than that im starting to dislike it. im gonna paint it again this winter.

3M makes a vinyl wrap to give it the matte finish, and the best part is if you don't like it, you can just peel it off.

^thats a good idea, but I'm not to sure that would work for a 4dr. and red calipers would look better I think, not a fan of yellow.

I think im gonna take bio's advice and not do flat black. If its a car that you want to keep clean I dont think its gonna be a good idea. The jeep was fine flat black cause it was always covered in mud.

    Chevy arrival blue??? 2 tone???

maybe ill try to figure out photoshop to come up with something...

No the whole point is for the yellow calipers to stick out behind the gloss black wheels and stealth grey paint, if you insist do blue calipers at the very least id say easily 8/10 painted calipers are red need to be different!!! If i was good at photochop Id do my old 02 GP Coupe

I really don't think flat black would look good on a GP. I have always thought flat colors look better on more squared body lines. I just don't think the style of the GP is conducive to flat colors.

There is a flat black grand prix with flames on it somewhere. It's been posted here a few times.
