Nothing to do with being cheap. I can afford the GPOs and I can order the Street Scenes, but I don't want to pay for black mesh grills that will look alot like stock, and I hate the silver ones on Silver cars, and GPOs are getting played out by alot of people. I will probably have to spend at least $50 for both ducts unless I find a cheap set at a J.Y., which is unlikely given the local yards. And then modify them accordingly, so it won't be cheap by any means, but custom and my own and different yes.
