what about making your own style of grille? like the larger honeycomb like the 04+ SPO grilles??

I think that without grilles its gonna look a little off.. personally i don't like the SPO's without a backer grilled behind them.

Just a crazy idea if you want different without rocks in the condenser; what about black louvers further back than were the stock grills would be?

i took a rock in the rad one time, large spaced grill on a 80 dodge truck. i had no a/c in that truck.

so you would be buying a new a/c condenser should you ever take a rock.

Those are not my pictures, I found them on Google. But IF I did this, it would have the tabs and the edges shaved to make it smooth with the ducts. There are other pics like this with the tabs, in the other shots you can see the tabs clearly and it looks tacky. But that is why I was thinking with the tabs and edges removed it would go smoothly with the ducts, and have those painted silver to match and it would look deeper than normal and be clean. I actually like the Ram Air GA's bumper look without grills, but still can't decide IF I want to try it with mine.
Still may just settle on a set of Black Chrome Street Scenes 4 piece.

if you did that but put a black grille deep in the duct that would help prevent crap from coming through.. i might be warming up to the idea

Wouldn't be hard to do, I was going to carve out part of the bottom anyways to let leaves and what not fall down so it wouldn't be trapped in the ducts and block up the air flow. Some gutter guard or similar would be easy to put in at the time.

May do it anyways, if it turns out like Pooo I can always ziptie the Street Scenes in place, you would be able to see silver tabs behind the black mesh grill anyways so they would have to be painted black or removed.

^ With a dremel and a sander. lol Make a hole in the bottom just before the mesh, big enough to let crap fall through
